MousePal Disney World tips  General tips

  • Trying to decide when the best time is to visit Walt Disney World? See below for some general rules:

As a general rule, Walt Disney World tends to be busiest during summer break from school and holidays. If kids and parents are out of school and work than you can count on them being in Disney World. This will hold true even on weeks when only Monday is a holiday. Many families use this oportunity to take a week long vacation.

One positive thing about visiting in summer is that you will find longer park hours and more character meeting opportunities. Disney usually sends more characters out during peak season to try and control the attraction lines.

MousePal Disney World tips  Disney Restaurant Reservations

  • Advance reservations are Disney theme park or resort restaurant reservations. Advance reservations can be made at most all of Disney's table service locations up to 180 days in advance. As the meal plan programs become more popular it has become very difficult to eat at Disney table service restaurants without an advance reservation. Call 407-WDW-DINE to plan your table service meals. Find all available Disney restaurants in the "Dining" section of the MousePal full version.

MousePal Disney World tips  For the Children

  • This is a Must! Buy an autograph book for your little ones to carry. There are many character greeting opportunities in all 4 Disney theme parks. The characters will be happy to get a picture with your kids and sign their autograph. What many families do is have all of the characters sign every 2nd page of the autograph book. Then on the left hand page, paste in the picture that was taken of the character and your child.

Also, while touring the World Showcase at Epcot, consider buying a passport for the children. They will be able to get a stamp at each of the countries for their personal passport.
