Sample Walt Disney World Tips from the MousePal

MousePal Disney World tipsGeneral tips

  • Not sure what days to visit each of the 4 theme parks? General rule of thumb is that the day each park hosts a Extra Magic hour in the morning is it's busiest day overall. Extra Magic days permit Disney Resort guests to enter one park either an hour early or up to 3 hours later after the regular closing time. One idea is to head to this park and take advantage of the small crowds for the extra hour, and then head to another park once the rest of the crowd rolls in. The schedule is usually as follows:

  • Epcot: Monday morning & Thursday evening
MGM: Tuesday morning & Sunday evening
Magic Kingdom: Friday morning & Wednesday evening
Animal Kingdom: Saturday morning & Tuesday evening

Be sure to double check extra magic hours when you check into your Disney resort. They do fluctuate at certain times of the year.

Another quick tip: If the park hours at Magic Kingdom have been extended, everyone tends to flock there. Might be a good day to visit Epcot. This is usually the case on Saturdays.

MousePal Disney World tipsFor a little romance on your vacation

  • Plan an evening at the Polynesian resort(A Magic Kingdom resort). Get a priority seating at Ohana where you will be treated like family. After dinner watch the sunset overlooking Cinderella's castle in one of the hammocks on the Polynesian's beach. End the evening with a stroll to the Grand Floridian passing the Disney wedding pavilion on the way!

  • Disney does not take reservations. They do however, take Priority Seatings, which are very similar to reservations. Priority seatings guarantee your party the next available seating once you have arrived at your assigned time. MousePal recommends making Priority seatings 30 days in advance, especially if you will be visiting in peak seasons. Check the contact section inside the MousePal to schedule a Priority seating. The contact section is included in the free demo of the MousePal.

MousePal Disney World tipsFor the Children

  • This is a Must! Buy an autograph book for your little ones to carry. There are many character greeting opportunities in all 4 Disney theme parks. The characters will be happy to get a picture with your kids and sign their autograph. Also, while touring the World Showcase at Epcot, consider buying a passport for the children. They will be able to get a stamp at each of the countries for their personal passport.

    MousePal Disney World tipsRelaxation

  • Don't let your family get so involved in seeing all of the attractions Disney has to offer that you forget to have fun. Relax, there's always next year!

MousePal Disney World tipsSimple line buster tip

  • If there are two lines for an attraction, go to the left. Most people's natural instinct is to take the line to the right!(You'll be surprised how well this works.)
